To celebrate Nayane this year there was breakfast at a favorite place, pedicures, a scavenger hunt that had us going all over the city, Wine House and ending the night at the Ritz.
All of it was fun. And here’s some photographic evidence of our day celebrating our favorite girl from Brazil.
What better to do on a Saturday afternoon then grab our cameras and walk down south Congress looking for Happy Hour Specials and great photo ops. It was a fun afternoon and the fun continued well in the night (we did get an extra hour so we had to put it to good use). Looking forward to another Happy Hour Outing.
Last night was the Tribeza fashion show to end fashion week in Austin. I was able to get all dolled up in a new custom Beth Elis dress and go and enjoy the best & “keeping Austin weird” side of fashion here in my hometown. Met up with old friends and made a few new ones. It was a nice welcome home after being gone for a week. And what girl doesn’t like a new dress once in a while?
Our destination was Chattanooga, Tennessee.
We avoided the Interstates in favor of small highways and small towns.
Seeing more of the country, the landscape, the old buildings and historical markers that make a road trip through six states a thing to remember.
Here’s a few things we saw on the first leg of our journey…
Austin, Texas to Vicksburg, Mississippi
Two state lines crossed and over 400 miles under belts.
I love road trips….
